5 Islands IPA on Tap ....

Its beer a while since the IPA has been on tap, but its back on and dangerous. How can beer be dangerous??

With 5 malts, 4 hops and a huge 7% alcohol this beer is a beast. With fruity hops, toffee sweet malt aromas and an alcolohic kick we definately recoment this be drunk in half pints and whilst sitting down.

Now, time for a random brewery shot (see pic) ... and a half of the IPA!

Brewery Band Nights Presents The Howling Tongues 6/5/09

Howling Tongues and Hailer are playing at FiBC tomorrow night from 8pm. 

The Howling Tongues are an explosive power-trio of rock'n'roll addicts from the far reaches of the Illawarra. Having graced stages with their presence in the Sydney, Wollongong, and the South Coast/Shoalhaven, the 'Tongues have made a name for themselves by performing intensely high-energy shows, laden with pumping rhythms, soaring melodies and blinding guitar solos. Oh yeah, and not to mention writing some of the best rock tunes heard in a long time.

Having recently completed their debut EP (titled "Z") with prestigious engineer/producer "Big" Al Wright (INXS, Jimmy Barnes, The Fumes, Cold Chisel, Motley Cure etc etc), the diversity of their style and talent is easily evident, as the five songs take you on a musical journey that will get both your blood pumping AND set your senses alight. The 'Tongues have shared the stage with such acts as The Radiators, British India, Calling All Cars and a last minute call up for The Screaming Jets, which just goes to show that these lads are serious about their craft and are serious about damaging your eardrums.
